Graciela Iturbide joins the Leica Hall of Fame as its 15th inductee

Leica has awarded Graciela Iturbide the Leica Hall of Fame Award 2026, making her the 15th inductee, with a Wetzlar exhibition running to January 2027.

The Hall of Fame matters because it places a photographer's whole body of work in a lineage, and Iturbide's induction, with Na' Lupe Pan named Picture of the Year 2026, does exactly that.

Graciela Iturbide is the 15th Hall of Fame inductee, the Wetzlar exhibition runs to January 2027, and Na' Lupe Pan is Picture of the Year 2026, announced on October 8, 2026.

A major photographic honour, noted here on the announcement facts alone.
